Termination Protection for an database is useful like AWS‘s Enabling Termination Protection for an Instance

We sometimes missed to delete own database.
If the database is important for our business, it would be very huge problem.

    AWS S3 is another good example, where you have to explicitly type in the S3 bucket name in order to delete it. But, I agree here, that a "lock" or "delete protection" option that has to be explicitly disabled would be confidence inspiring.
